Thank you letters from Lily

    To Nakazato family

I miss you all so much! I hope you are all well. How is school? What did you all get for
Christmas? Did Hima get her tooth? :) I received the package. It cost so much to send! We will send money to pay for the shipping.
Anyway, I wanted to thank you again for all that you did for me while I was staying in Japan. I
had an amazing time. It is one of my most precious memories, and I will never forget it. I can’t wait to see you all again soon, and I hope you all come to Kittery. You are welcome to stay with my family and with my grandparents! I love you all so much. Thank you with all my heart.
    Love, Lily

    To Komenotsu Junior High School

Hello! It’s Lily, the American student who stayed with you during the beginning of December. I wanted to email you to say thank you again for all that you did for me. This trip was one of the best experiences of my life, and I will never forget all the amazing people I met and the fun things I did. All of you are so kind, generous and welcoming and I hope to see you all again. I miss your school so much! I loved spending time with all of you and speaking and singing and laughing with you. I hope you are all doing well, and I hope you all had fun during Christmas and the New Year! Thank you again, I will never forget my time with you.
    Love, Lily Watts

    To Volunteers

    Dear Volunteers,
I cannot thank you enough. Your time and effort has given me an
incredible experience I had never imagined I would get. I sincerely had one of the best experiences of my life, and thanks to all of your work, I was able to do something I wouldn’t have otherwise. I am deeply grateful for all that you have done for me, and I hope that all of you, in turn, get an experience as magical as the one you have allowed me to have. I know that volunteer work often goes underappreciated, and I want you all to know how truly grateful I am for everything you have done for a total stranger. Sincerely, Lily Watts
